    Howdy peeps

hey Folks, just thought I would pop my head in the door and say hello. I am a biker of about 10 years now, I currently own a 2000 Bandit 1200N back in the UK but decided to sell it since I am now the proud owner of a brand new Gun Metal Bandit 1200N (I know, 2 bandits but ya gotta love the wheelies) I currently live in the north Shore so would be keen to meet up with other bikers in the area.. I only take delivery of the bandit in a couple of weeks so will post photos when I get it (although am sure you all know what a bandit looks like)

Btw, is there a renthal dealer on the shore, I want to get a set of dirt bike handle bars for the bandit? oh and tires! want rid of the macadams

well look forward to chatting with like minded peeps

    Scott.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Welcome aboard chap!

Check out the calender for get togethers and rides - good way to meet people. Come along for a drink or three on occasion - you get the idea.

We are nuts - but apart from that we're mostly ok.

    Hi, Trow!

Welcome to the Kiwi Biker gargre!
Sorry - can't help with the Renthals - try ringing some of the bike shops, or wati for somone on here to speak up.. As for tyres - try Cycletreads in Barrys Point Road, Takapuna, or if you can get over the bridge, Kerry at Motohaus in Kingsland. Come to think of it - either of those places could probably sort you out for bars too.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

thanks folks for the warm welcome! yeh I would love to come along for a beer or three sometime... being Scottish (sorry shetlander) I kinda pride myself in that area

Is there many people on the board that have bandits, I quite fancy getting the dynojet kit (stage3) but heard that it can be a bit lumpy bottom end? don't know if it's worth it or not (specially in the Auckland traffic)

As for tires, al check out the place in Barry's point Rd, I bought the bandit from Holeshot so it's quite close.

BTW if your interested to take a look, I try to attend my bikers Rally back in Shetland called the Simmer Dim Rally, page here:

Wait for Lou to come along - he's got a Bandito with a jet kit.

Hi Trow. Nothing wrong with having two similar bikes (even at the same time). Welcome to NZ and the KB gargre.

Can't help with the tyres or bars cos I live in Wellington. I have bought tyres off Cycletreads sometimes though.
