Noticed the same thing happening at my parents house a while back. Never did figure out what was going on, but changed to a different type of eco bulb and I forget whether it kept doing it or not...

Seems a couple of the glow worms aren't sticking to the script.

I've seen this too, I just thought my meds were getting weaker...
It's something to do with there still being a small current in the circuit and the low energy lights are able to flash after a small while with the low current, whereas a normal type bulb needs more current to do so.

    Or something

Nah it's a byproduct of some brands of lights. I've got 16 in one side of my shed and they do it from time to time, also a sparky of many years and had to have a proper look at this as a fault and proved it no worries.
Flouros actually heat the gases inside the glass, and even after switching off there's still a bit of heat around.

    Speaking of eco bulbs...

We're apparently not suppose to throw them in the rubbish bin when they get used.

What do you do with them then??

Turn it off and throw it away. That is the mercury leaching out and slowly killing you as the vapour drifts down from the ceiling.

They are called eco bulbs because they are designed to kill everyone and leave the planet to the animals.

    Honest.
