    I'm stuck

Bought a new handbrake for my bike but it doesn't reach to activate the brake light switch, it's like it needs an extra bit weilded on so it can reach....I've been sold the right part according to the guys who looked it up on the parts manual, and when I google it seems to show the same handbrake, so Im wondering if the switch isn't the original.

Went to Jaycar, to find a switch but there were soo many components farked if I know which one, oh and then there's the reverse thingee too so its like when the handbrake is released the switch turns off.....

    Help.....
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings

Can you not slot the holes on the brake light switch and move it? When you pull the lever one would expect the little knob (quiet in the cheap seats) on the switch to pop outwards.

Alternatively, you could drill/tap a small hole in the lever and put a tiny screw in there (with loctite) to make it activate
    What flavour bike is it?

its a bit difficult to give good help when you dont bother to tell us make, model, year etc of the bike in question.

My lever has a little peg that is supposed to press the brake light switch, but it was 1mm out of reach.
So I wrapped a cable tie around the peg to add thickness, and use that to touch the switch instead.

One does simply rear end a Marmoot.

He's far too fast to get rear ended.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

No. Superglue or epoxy for securing it.

She means it's not a push to work, it's a push to not work. Normally closed instead of normally open. Have you never seen a brake light switch on a motorcycle before????
