i had one of these and sold it a couple -3 years back , (bought a leather lounge sweet with the money)well 1/2 one from the money.
nice job i may say, but would have to agree with others, you've killed the value , by changing it, if it was done in the OME blue blue and white like mine,

you maybe closer to the money,
mine was very tidy and un fucked with (outside the 1100 wheels) and I had many people tell me they thought it was worth good money and would buy it , but F all fronted up with any cash, and i ended up selling it for 3 1/2 k , so good luck , your selling your bike against 1ltr bikes 2001 to 07 mark and some very worthy opponents.

I don't think I have changed it that much from original, what I have done though is remove or repair the damaged bits and repair the frame where some retard had drilled holes in it and ground bits out. To a purist you would never be able to touch the frame as it had a quite unique anodised finish that you could not refurbish if you tried. I still have all the original bits to put it back to stock but fucked if I would piss about with the OTT stickers it had from new.

I have heard of someone who was in the process of squeazing the 1100 lump into GSX-RR 250 frame. Don't know how that ended tho.

Well when the swing arm mount folds, and the frame turns itself inside out, it'll be interesting to watch him take it back out using a gas axe at least.

I figured it that much. There is no way physically that 250 frame would be strong enough to withstand the torque and associated forces of the 1100 motor. Yet, I have seen with my own eyes the 1100 sitting next to the 250 frame and getting measured up. I was thinking at the time, how the fuck is that going to fit in there.

The motor won't fit between the frame rails anyway, or between the headstock and swingarm mount, so it's a non issue really. Good job, because it would kill someone if it folded at the wrong moment.

Oh, with that character anything would not surprise me. Knowing him, he probably cut the frame up to fit the motor then rewelded it back up. After all he put ZZR1100 motor into a Vespa and rode it to the Brass Monkey Rally. Mind you we are talking mid 90s here, so back then the law did not apply as hard as it does now.

Might be a little more needed than just wheels Drew ! And this tourist who was staying with us for a few weeks wasn't too worried about the 12 yr old 18's lol

Bit of a drawn out vid, it was made more for him to show back home , but ya'll get the gist ! there's some motor work to be done for sure !

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

You can have a cry all you want, but old shitters like that only have value when they're original, and you've fucked it. $8000 is a joke. Go look for yourself. Nobody wants a molested old shitter like that for $8k when that would get them an R1 or GSXR1000. That's not to say the bike doesn't look lovely, with some nice work, but $8000... you are dreaming.
