Anton Roni Dixon used to have a 750 of these, the blue and white one. He had it in around 1988/1989, we used to chase him around Orkers on it.

He's the man who went on to go nuts with the samurai sword in a meth fuelled rage, ended up killing someone then himself later in the pokey.

    Just FYI.
Rather fitting, they were considered the 'nutters' bike.

    Another interesting fact.

A blue and white '85 GSXR750 took my left arm. Actually, my actions took my arm.

I wanted to ask you about that after the dude up here also tore the nerves for his arm out.

Did you elect to lop the arm off or is that up to the doctors?

It was up to me. And I've still got. People ask why, well it fills a sleeve and doesn't bother me. Big decision removing a limb when it doesn't need to be removed. I got asked at the time of the accident if I'd like it removed, when I told them no they said that was the usual response but I'd be back in 6mths to get it removed. 15yrs later now.

Didn't hear about the other accident. Were the nerves ripped out of the spine?

Yeah, pulled the nerves out of his spine. I'd never even heard of it untill then, was about 7-8 years ago now I guess. Scared the shit out of me to think it can happen so easily!

At a party some time later we were talking, and he said he might have it removed like you had.

Pretty epic deign fault, I'd demand a refund!

Yup I'd never heard of BPA until I got one lol. Did he think I'd had my arm removed? I guess my username suggests it.

eah, I thought you had too. More because of the, "one left glove for sale, never been used" signature of old I think.

It is scarily common too I guess. You, stone chucker (I think that was his handle on here), and motard dude. Someone told me he still had a some sensation in his hand though.

Well my left hand doesn't fit a glove no more, and even if it did I have my arm tucked under my leathers so it's well out of the way.

Now we better leave this thread quietly, we've kind of hijacked it. Keeping it at the top of the forum though!
