I have been building 2T engines for what seems a life time and one thing I know to be true..

The best oil in the world won't help if your jetting is either too rich(dilutes the oil)or too lean(too much localized heat,burns the oil and compromises film strength and shears the molecules)

In other words and as usual in the 2T engine,carburetion is King

If everything else is mechanically OK the main reason yours did what it did is unlikely to be down to the oil alone
