You're over thinking it. The question, and the answers on the board are completely unrelated. The question asks if you choose an answer at random,so any thought given to the numbers on the board is redundant.

Both A and D cannot be right, because there is a 50% chance of selecting either A or D, (and 0% chance of selcting both of them). The only choice with an answer of 50% is B, but there is only a 25% chnace of selecting B, so that can't be the correct answer either.

Got some time on my hands at the moment...

What does "correct" mean? I can randomly choose A through D - but that doesn't indicate which is correct. The fact that one value is repeated doesn't mean anything.
