I might have one up for sale shortly.

Just tossing up if I want to keep it or not - not sure I want to be slapping a magnetic tank bag to my newly painted bike.

To be fair I had one when I started riding that marked my tank on an old bike. So for the bandit I will put a cloth under it. And I will only use it for when I need a map.

Yeah I thought of that but I'm dubious it would stick to my tank at high speeds.

Usually the case is I put my immediates in it - neck warmer, map, phone, different gloves, and snacks for along the road. But when really full it had a tendency to blow off and smack me in the chest - usually when I was passing a car (130+kmph)

So never bothered to use a cloth, since it might make it stick even less.

But as I said... new paint so not keep on scuffs. Damn handy bag though. Not sure what I'll do to replace it. Probably pack even lighter!

Well I will be leading an L platers ride so 130 wont be happening. It will only be holding a map anyway.

I've got over 200 km/hr on my FJ with the magnetic tank bag on ... never even looked like peeling off. (in the .00355 seconds I spent looking)

I seldom go far without it ... I use a soft cloth underneath it.

No more than a 1200 Bandit might have.

But I think Lone rider is into cruisers. So no fairing.
