I wondered where you'd gone I pulled over on the 'down slope', as I knew from our chat you would be taking it 'easy', and went back to look as you didnt appear... (old school rider in a group... always have a tail end charlie, and stop to check every so often). I assumed when I got to the point I overtook you at, that you had indeed turned back; Yes Sorry about the 'zoom' The MT is a great bike to ride over there, and I did get a little 'enthusiastic' on the ride up. 120?? Errrrrrrrr not Meeeeeee

Most of the time I sit around 100-110 on the open road, which makes it even more 'annoying' to fark up in such a silly manner later on. If I am on another one and you are in the group, I wont go 'enthusiastic' over the hill....... Apology offered.

As you have no actual knowledge of the event, or the actions/lack of action involved, specifically as I kept detail down to a minimum... You're talking out of the arsehole you quoted about.... have a nice day

Thanks, I appreciate that. I just couldn't make up the speed when the group started to seperate and noticed a few on my tail so pulled over to let everyone go, was either that or cane it and outride my abilities, or be in the way.
Having witnessed one death on a group ride, it still makes me nervous so maybe next time I'll stick to a smaller/more laxed out group. Thanks for looking out for me though

    smartarse.........

Oh the MT is 'fine'.. took her to TSS, they looked her over, and Ben took it for a test ride,,, He's quite happy she's 'structurally sound' in the important areas (forks/frame ETC)...... not gonna be cheap we all agreed on that. Seems Mr yamaha may not sell the 'exhaust' downpipe 'covers' seperate... they had to buy some for another model that has a similar configuration, and it only came complete as a downpipe and covers... even though they are 'bolt on',, FFS.... tank has a small ding, air cover scratched, exhaust cover (rear) munted, brake lever rear, footpeg, bars (usual low speed slide stuff) all marked up. Thankfully the cam cover was undamaged (phew) but Mjolnir looks 'sad'......

Hey GW, glad you're OK, man. That feeling sucks, don't it? I'm sure most if not all of us know how it is.

Hope the bike gets restored pretty as before soon...

Maybe the BDOTGNZA finally found out what you look like and arranged a professional hit with the aim to make it "look like an accident".

What a crappy way to end a great days riding. But as everyone has said - at least you're ok, even if you're bike is going to cost a major spend.
