    Want a welder?

Bought myself a mig welder a couple of years ago with the intention of doing small projects here and there. My 1st project was to repair an old trailer.

2 years on I have a largely untouched trailer and a welder that doesn't get used - so I've decided to kill 2 birds why the one stone.

I want: 1 wofable trailer in tidy condition.

I have: 1 rusty trailer and a welder.

So if someone wants a free welder, and is willing to fix up my trailer for me then let's talk. Or if someone has a tidy trailer they'd swap for my welder and rusty trailer then let's talk. Or if someone wants yo part with some cash for either let's talk.

The welder: A cigweld 150amp - was used for panel work and chassis repair, then used on trailers , does 3mm easy and can be stretched a nit further. Is a bit older but well built with a good duty cycle. Comes with auto darkening helmet, gloves, 8mm and 6mm spools. Needs some new yips and a tip holder. Liner and lead and gun replaced about 20 hours ago.

The trailer - rusty but solid, tows well. Still registered.

    Will add pictures soon.

You buying your welder, reminds me of a mug I know who bought a Router, a Bandsaw, a set of thread dyes and taps, a Dremel set, a heavy duty Jigsaw and God knows how much other stuff that never got half the use they were meant to.

Yep I know what you mean, I'm definitely one of those guys that buys all the gear, then gets bored and moves on. Have never finished a project in my life. Realising that now so decided to do things the right way - get someone else to do it for me

I have a ~90sqm basement/garage full of crap - it's all going (well, the bikes and tools can stay).

anyone want a campomatic trailer ? another unfinished project
