What is the grade of alloy that the footrest kits are made from?

We have also arranged a deal with the same supplier by the looks,Same products etc,Difference being we will be having a bulk order shipped direct to us for inspection first,

To be honest theres not much difference in price with local stuff by the time you add the gst and $150.00 freight to the price,
Unless your buying from somebody in the trade,There can't be any back up service,Once we,ve had our first shipment through,We'll decide how much further we want to go with it and will update our website to suit.

Based on reports from the South Island of atleast one person purchasing rearsets out of China based solely on cost over a superior product,Saved himself a couple of hundy on the product,BUT then did thousands of dollars worth of damage when they snapped off whilst he was doing a wheelstand !!! We want to inspect before getting to carried away,If we think they are unsafe,Then we will consider banning the use of such product for racing.

Also interesting to note,Both the Honda CBR1000 fairing pictured and the Triumph 675 are product from other companies websites,The Honda being from an Australian supplier and the Triumph from our own Justfairings in Hamilton,Not sure about the rest until they arrive.

Just ordinary 6061 Billet Aluminum mate...nothing to set the world on fire...but as long as it does the job eh? I've had a big brand rear-set on my bike in the past and broke the shifter arm just from shifting gears!!! Quality and function are not necessarily dictated by price in my experience.

Fair points billy...but when you say 'we' will consider banning such products for racing who are you refering to and what products/brands?

Regarding fairings, I have no issue with regards to your fairing quality/service or just fairings either...these fairings I have coming in I have tested myself personally and are very happy with the product and feel comfortable with recommending to other racers also. If you can compete with the prices I have offered then no probs...after all, its about assisting those out there spending a shit load of money on the sport they love doing! I see this as a good thing for the sport myself

I got all the images from my supplier bud...apparently they didn't take all the pictures themselves. Happy to remove the ones I know are not original photos....is it just the Triumph 675?

None in particular Marcus,I will be looking into that incident further,As I stated I was concerned too hear that the said brackets had broken and caused the rider to lose control,But owing to the fact I got it secondhand,I will need to investigate further,So far as the bodywork goes,I agree competition is good and Fiona has been trying to get us onboard for sometime now,On that basis I had contacted her and have come to a temporary arrangement,If it all pans out OK we will look at becoming the sole NZ distributor.

Nick it's not Marcus that supplied that picture,It is the supplier,I picked up on it straight away and was informed that the Triumph fairings they supply are not the same as pictured,As we already have moulds for the 675,It won't affect us,I have spoken to Glen about it and he's less than impressed to say the least.

I have also seen Daytona and other brands in the past fail in a similar way. Turns out some monkey secured the bike with tiedowns on a ute to the alloy peg mounts and stressed the shit out of them , in the meantime all the yabbering bollocks made the brands the pox carriers they didnt deserve to be, im sure this will never be repeated in this forum though.

Absolutely,Commonsense has to used,I would be more concerned about cast aftermarket stuff than extruded,Afterall the incident I elluded to may have involved a machine that had been crashed previously and no inspection had taken place.
