The daily updates by email seem to have stopped

As far as I know I don't have a spam filter. Even so, I checked my junk folder and it's empty. Nothing's changed on my end.

Depends on your email address, whether it's company or not and how you collect your mail. If you're using an email client to collect from a service like Hotmail or Gmail, then the filtering is done before you get emails. You'd need to login into the web interface and check your spam folder there.
