VFR750 clutch master cylinder leaking

Hi i thought my clutch was playing up didnt seem to have much resistance and took
the master cylinder cover of to find most fulid gone aghhh , went to bleed the clutch and chouldint
get much pressure , so took of clutch lever and need kit to fix it .

so bike of the road till then , just quick qwestion is posible to can afford the kit to use master cylinder

of my old vt 250 whould this work

Pull the seals and piston out, measure them, google the measurements, buy new parts.

How do you know its not leaking from the slave cylinder?

Its okay i get the piston kit i got it for the other side (brakes) either here or from the uk

Am pretty sure its the top master cylinder cause seen leaking and outside seal was damaged

In past years on old bikes I've had ... I've fitted master cylinder's of other motorcycle brand/size (clutch and brake) with few issues. They do the same job.
Use clean fluid and bleed it properly ... and there shouldn't be a problem.

It can make a massive difference if you go too small/big though

Thanks mate well chould be its knacked too as the motor was but thanks alot, i thought in theroy
it should work not having transport getting to me i use the clutch lever too that way know its compatible

Thanks for that actaully not to bad , i taken to motorcycle shop and guy fitting the clutch kit for me , i got mine from england
But go there and he had same brand everthing cheaper in stock

Yeah, shouldn't be too bad. That's stainless steel resleeved and kitted ready to bolt on.
