Is there some sort of rough schedule for this? I'm hoping to leave Friday or Saturday. It would be good to know whats on when so we can arrange our trip to suit.

MNZ website calendar or get a mention on Bike Rider TV
We cover it (this year). But don't often cover racing.

    Been before though.

I think a bit of damp overnight is on the cards, spare a thought for the set up crews that start at 4:00AM without them the event would not be possible.

22 years with only 2 full wet days is a good stat.
I'm pretty sure those 2 days were the only time the weather man got it right.

Moisture in the morning followed by glorious sunshine is the norm in recent years.

There usually are....going over towing bikes they pass us at high speed on the straights, get in the way in the twisties and we eventually pass them getting ticketed on the side of the road....

If anyone is heading over today let us know what the roads are like, if the pass is covered in grit and snow I might take the car instead.

Looks like the poor speedway guys are gonna get a wet bum, they normally postpone until Monday if its too wet. It's a typical street race weather forecast alright, it gonna rain tomorrow then all night, our set up crews will get wet then it will stop for us to race

Note to those travelling - both passes were closed for most of the morning, fingers crossed they are open tomorrow. Bike check from 1pm until 5pm or possibly later if the roads are bad.
