In the morning; yes - very. After lunch session the track dried for about two-three classes, but then it started to drizzle again, and wets where run by most over the whole day.

Still a great crowd to watch some real good racing.

PS, another well run street meet, by an army of volunteers, stand up and clap. Cheers

Here's a link to a video of Post Classic Race 2, camera fogs badly but you get the idea, near the end there is a bit that shows an interesting entry to the main straight. Wish I'd had the camera on for race 1, you couldn't see the end of the street for the rain and spray.
Bike died on the warm up lap of race 3, water in the lecky bits. If you think I get a bad start, it because I'm on a GSX400 twin, not a 1000.
I got 9th in race one, so made row 2 of the grid for Race two but got bumped on to the front row.

It might have been wet, but was still a hoot, I don't think I'll look at a weather forecast next year.

    Cheers

P.S. as above a huge thanks to the setup and takedown crews, the flaggies and gate folk and stall holders, anyone who helped make it happen on the day, hope you are keen to have another go next year.
