The intro. If you Google 'youtube top gun' there is a Quentin Tarantino clip on the first page of results. Interesting watch.

If 'Top Gun' was a dish it would consist of Apple Pie served on Bollocks.

I bet it's because he drove a Prius. Get that man a bike...ok, maybe a little late now.

Scott was a thrill-seeker in his personal life, an avid rock climber who also liked driving fast cars and motorcycles. Still, filmmaking was his real thrill

I watched the making of Top Gun about 2-3 weeks ago. The guy was a legend. They were filming on a real US aircraft carier on station in the Indian Ocean, and he actually paid the captain 25K out of his own money to turn the carier around because the light was in the wrong place for him to film.

Top guy and a great director. His movies speak volume of his talent.

    RIP Tony

I agree, but the access they were given to US Naval equipment was unprecedented. It's the only movie I legitimately own two copies of.

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment...d-brain-cancer

"Top Gun director Tony Scott was reportedly suffering from inoperable brain cancer before he leapt to his death.

Scott died after jumping from a Los Angeles bridge on Sunday (Monday, NZT).

ABC News reported that the director may have decided to take his own life because he was diagnosed with the terminal disease just days before his suicide."
