Distrusting little soul ain't ya and I can see why it might look hypocritical, but hey, we live in a financial world and need money to do anything.
I'm not a have-not. I guess it's a state of mind in regards to who does the work. From my perspective it's do the work to benefit the inhabitants of the country, equity not equality. The funny thing is that is has absolutely nothing to do with the wealth of others, not really. Otherwise I'd be wankin on about some form of social credit system. Tis the issues that the financialless system solves for me. The overuse/misuse of limited resources in the pursuit of, erm, having stuff. Not that people won't be able to have stuff, but we certainly need to slow the cycle down and start looking at doing things in a different way. Hell it costs billions to explore space and some projects are on hold because they're too expensive. Under NOW you'd just do the thing that costs too much instead of settling for the half arsed attempt... simple example before wandering off too much. As the money won't exist any more, I find it hard to see why anyone would be suspicious of those who would seek to do away with it. It's not an obsession with wealth I would venture.
