NOT for Scooter riders

...well yes, we will be riding Scooters, but only because they seem like the least suitable motorised transport for exploring NZ's 4wd tracks and gravel roads!
And this year we will be running the first SCOOTER OLYMPICS.

Survivor Scooter 2012 will be leaving Nelson Nov 21st for four days of scooting (pushing and carrying) through the top of the south's back country, having a laugh, getting dirty AND raising money for charity. Numbers will be limited to 20 riders due to the terrain, any 50cc scooter that can maintain 50kmh is eligible, good attitudes and a sense of humour a requirement.

Also looking for ideas for the Olympic events. So far:
Javelin (as you will need to accelerate and brake hard with one hand... on grass)
Double sculls... yes of course it involves drinking certain beverages quickly.
