ID:	270002A heavily modded MB100.
Has it for ages, but no time to ride it.
6 speed gear box, 38mm flat slide carb, goes like the clappers, but very peaky, great if you're into riding 2 strokes, crap if you're not.

It'll need a bit of a clean up, as it's sat in the garage for several years. Plenty of spares.
Done about an hour on new piston, rings etc.
    Had a professional paint job.

I'll try to post some photos soon

Plenty room under the house mate. Thanks for that brake hose. Will be fitting it tomorrow.

38mm Flatslide? That would be the biggest carb ever fitted to a bucket award. I suspect a typo.

$400 is a good price even if in dodgy old MB chassis.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Have you bought it so that you'll have the "machinery" excuse when both of your daughters humiliate you on track?
    Stock is best

The thought hadn't crossed my mind. Not a bad idea though, once the "My back is really sore today" and "I'm too stressed from paying all the bills" excuses are worn out that could be useful.

    On Hold, but phot added

I'm holding until November for someone who's interested.

It's in an MB100 slimline featherbed frame.

    Colour is burgandy/claret.

Pulled it out from the back of the garage, may even get it running if I get some time and take it for a spin.

Garage is not big enough, but I've a nice 90 year old neighbour who lets me store a few bikes in hers.

I'll try to add a photo now

    Carb

I'm quoting 38mm carb from memory, it may only be 36mm, but it is big.
I know when I got it I thought it sounded huge for a 100, but it works well at revs. The rubber inlet manifold was not off an MB, and had a small split which grew into a big one. I made up a new one out of alloy, and increased the inlet length to smooth out the power band, which it did slightly. The inlet port is modified quite a lot and looks much bigger than I would imagine a standard MB would be, although I've never seen a standard one.

It's not a "get on and ride it" bike, and will need a service before you could use it. I'd ride it with the current tyres, but none of my mates would, so count on fitting some new ones.

Deserves to be ridden, but I've no time to get to the track, and can't afford any more points on my license so road use is not an option.
