Those idiots really do get what is coming to them. Honestly, why would you do that? Who wants to seriously risk getting gored to death for shits and giggles??
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Bro...why would you want to revel in that shit? I'm by no means weak stomached, but a website dedicated to mutilations (the banner picture - even though fake - is fucked up enough), road accident victims, executions etc. is just messed up.

People need to know factual information about how phucked up the world really is. Mainstream media is so heavily censored, that it does not give the general public a realistic outlook on the depicted subjects. For example, we've all seen road safety ads targeting things such as speeding, drunk driving, being distracted etc but how much of an impact does that really have on people? We become nearly immune to it, and nothing short of real, uncensored video or photographic evidence may change those potentially deadly habits.

The same goes for many other things. Take the recent Islamic uprising as a classic example. After seemingly endless media coverage on the matter, after a couple of days people become disinterested and don't take much notice of future developments. It's only fair that people get a true, unbiased view of how the world really is. Sites such as BestGore seek to provide the general public with such information, no matter how tragic or upsetting it may be.

    PS. Stop being a pussy.

C'mon...you didn't really just say that that website provides a public service did you? The lack of gore in the mass media is hardly the reason that people become oblivious to messages such as road safety. Look at gore and shit like on that website enough and you will become totally de-sensitised to that as well. What next? People have to witness the acts themselves "for the reality to hit home"? That argument is a smoke screen.
The creators of that website are not endeavouring to help people any more than rotten.com did back in the day. They call themselves "best gore" for fuck sake. By it's very nature, their name is glorifying gore. How is Anime gore news worthy? How are autopsy pictures of women showing their vaginal/pubic regions all cut up news worthy? Further, the comments left by viewers are messed up...pictures of executed girls with sick fuck guys saying things like "nice legs on that bitch", "Woulda been nice to have a vid. They don’t look that beat up. The article says they were tortured, how and stuff? I can’t jerk off if I don’t know the details." clearly show the true nature of the site and I find it fucking abhorrent.

If a picture or video of someone I cared about ended up being posted there, I would hunt the owners of the site down, as well as whoever sent them in and show them what a piano wire garrote can do. There is nothing healthy about what is going on there, those people are evil. People's lack of engagement in matters-of-the-present has more to do with the priorities of people today and their world views than with a lack of explicit media imagery.

It's got nothing to do with being a pussy. I know people who have witnessed the worst that that site has to offer, I have seen some nasty stuff myself, whether as part of their jobs or through emergency services, the military or just a rough life - and I can guarantee that not one of them will support what you have said, and none glorify the desecration of the dead.
