    Suzuki RMX250 - rebuilt, mostly

I am heading off for Japan and need to sell my bike. If it doesn't sell I have a good friend who would park it in his garage but to lessen the burden on him it'd be better to sell it. I completely rebuilt it in 2011 but it's not quite finished. Spent way more on it than I'm selling it for. Shotblasted/powdercoated frame, lots of parts bought from Ebay, new bearings here and there, new piston and rings and a good second hand cylinder barrel. New chain and sprockets. Plus various spares including forks with new oil and seals, frame, swingarm, cylinders, brake parts, etc. It's on TradeMe but people just keep texting for me to sell it for $1000 so don't go there.

Could do with a new clutch as the present one is a bit jerky - might wear in a bit once used but it was stored for a few years before I got it. Once warmed up it's OK. Could do with the rear shock rebuilding - not cheap. I have a spare but it's probably the same. Needs a speedo cable or just blank it off. The choke doesn't work properly - prob needs dimantling and cleaning. A bit of petrol in the carb and it starts right up. And once warm it starts straight away. I have only riddden it up and down my drive.

With a bit more fettling - not much - it'll be a really good ride. I just ran out of time.

If it doesn't sell I suppose I'll have a good project to finish once I return next year ...

OK - Have been overseas a few months. I just got the bike back - my mate never used it. It's on TradeMe for $1200 reserve.
