This is not the first time I've heard this as an idea, and I have no idea what the fuck people are thinking. Half your bikes are faster than street stocks! Lets also look at the name of the class as a hint to why buckets shouldn't be allowed in there fucking up the guys, who actually should be there.

Quite a few Buckets are eligible for Streetstock dickhead

    What you said.

And Drew what classes run together at the big meetings like the GP? Again get with the program.

How many FXR150 raced in buckets are pretty much stock or only modified within what's allowable to be eligible for street stock, my guess it would be the majority.

I'd love to have a crack at Wanganui, having raced F3 and SM there I think a bucket would be a hoot!
Hell, I'd even forfeit the chance of prize money

While Buckets in SS would be/is fun I agree with Drew. If I was a SS rider i would be dead against it. A lot like I am dead against those fucking pitbikes in Buckets.
However, if there was (say) a 30 second split start between SS and Buckets ie enough of a delay so the 2 classes didn't see eachother on track either passing or lapping... can't see anything wrong with that as long as there are enough entries.

No where near the majority. Look up the street stock rules. You're barely allowed to change the bloody oil.

Buckets in Streetstock is fine, we run them together at MCI and Cams meets, on full track at Ruapuna SS are 1.54 to 1.56 a couple of buckets are that fast but most start at 2.01 2.03 its great racing with them , if there is a complaint its that the streetstock guys are a bit more crashy. they also run Prolite in the same races without any problems. the pitbike problems dont exist down here yet. Superbikes are 1.30 so the gap between lion and mouse isnt really that big

Ignore me then. Infact, that should be everyone's default setting anyway.

If you guys are keen on a street race , come down to greymouth for Labour weekend, entry is still open, $120 entry fee, can enter in 2 classes extra classes after that are $25. Buckets are usually full class 30 or so bikes, pretty flash track. Stay at the top 10 for $20, pizza for tea, its great
