Haha that's good to know!! I have ridden 1500 km in 5 weeks and embracing having a bike, going on long country rides so I'm hoping it won't be too scary!

Nah, we typically only do 80-100km on a leg. Nice and easy. Theres no pressure to go fast so don't worry about it

Thats right Doogle...have to keep in mind that these rides are Learner friendly and frequent stops are essential.
Those in group 1 will just get there sooner than groups 2 or 3....
At times, the group/s will spread out (thats only natural) but what I tend to do is, slow it up for a kilometer or two, thats all it takes for those behind to catch up.
Worked well on the Kawhia trip when I finally got to grips with what the hell was going on.
Always learning...when you think you know everything?....you're fucked.

Absolutely no need to worry about that. I've been riding since 1982 and I still slow down for corners I don't know (and some I do). This is just part of keeping the black (rubbery) stuff on the bottom.

    eek Re Bookings

I assumed that everyone on the list had already booked?...
Turns out, that is not the case...well, perhaps now it is...

You MUST book with Irene...$180 to paid upon arrival...
If you are not on HER list...things may get a bit...

I believe she is a aware of the numbers turning up (23)...Anne told her yesterday on the phone, but better to be safe than...sleeping on the beach.

You have the links to Friday and Saturday, and Sunday is a repeat of last year...
Mark W can lead on Saturday...
But if the weather is good (Saturday or Monday look mint) it would be worth a trip...
