Yip 300 Kms in absolute ideal riding conditions...Marsden roundabout had both front and rear tyres going left (away from me) at the same time....something on the road me thinks, the surface is sweet as.

This roundabout has a fine dusting of rubber from all the logging trucks apparently. I have been warned about it recently but have not experienced the drift.
You should have boosted this into a story about your epic heroics. Ie, I was doing 200kmh round the roundabout sliding both ends ...etc

The L's Angels Ride To Taupo II...is in the pipeline as an overnighter
Will be the same as last year but more ride control from ride organiser
May look at a different way home, being the only change.
