He who shall go stately at the back and not stress out.
So Gareth what was it you said about MaxF's "Funky ass curves"? - God, now I'm worried...

I might be interested... really looking for a straight R80 as a casual "do all roads" sort of bike, is there a lot involved in removing the "S" gauges, bars etc? I know that may sound a dumb question but not having owned an airhead I don't know of all the quirks so bear with me.

Also what is the mechanical condition of the engine and any known faults that may need attending to.

    Ta, Iain.

Thanks mate, Great bikes these BMW's l use to hate them until my mate made me ride his R80g/s now l couldn't see me riding any other brand.

l know lve spoken to you over the phone but l thought l would let everyone know that if they just want the standard R100 l will keep the fairing and gauges and sell the bike at a big discounted price as l have other bikes l can use these parts on.
    Thanks Graham

    parts you have?

Hi Graham, i've been looking at your 11-37 diff on tm. is that a 4 bolt. would you be interested in swapping it ( and prob cash your way as i've just realized) for a 3 bolt with wheel (off g/s)) before you get to excited (or not haha) the diff has a bit of play in it, the rim has some cracks -between spokes, and the hub is no doubt worn to buggery as well, believe it or not i'm not a salesman.
i couldn't pm on this site as don't use it enough (and theres the reason- won't be back here ) but i'm guzzitony on adv.

    cheers Tony
