Sorry but people of all races and creeds have used superstition, religion and tradition to justify horrific acts.... Its easier when the evidence against the victim is spiritual or religious because you seldom need to show exhibit number 1 in a court....

Generation after generation we throw up these people and generation after generation the war drums sound...

Nothing ever changes but every time the wars get worse and we get more efficient at killing...

I reckon the cunts that start these things should have to be register with the UN. Ie you can't start a riot or a war unless you are registered. Then we get Dr Nick to introduce an ACC like component....

What world do you live in? Lala land?

Have you forgotten about George W Bush's New Crusade. - In Iraq alone -killing more than a Million people and causing Five million to flee as refugees.
Shock and Awe, that inspired program to 'win Hearts and Minds' and free those people .
6000 Cruise Missiles fired into Bahgdad in 24 hours freed plenty of people. From their lives.

The horrors perpetrated by Muslims pale into insignificance when compared to the evils perpetrated by Stupid White Men and one Black woman. Mostly Jews but with a 'Born again Christian' as their figurehead. I was going to write 'Leader' but that just didn't seem to ring true.

Mr. Bush once called for a more humble foreign policy. The times never demanded one more than now.
Atheism and Religion are but two sides of the same coin.
One prefers to use its head, while the other relies on tales.

The trouble is that you could apply your first statement to many law-abiding parents in the West Midlands of England...whose children went on to become the brummie accents and Aston Villa tats that our armed forces encountered in Afganistan.

If you don't think that there is a global problem with a particularly political, aggressive and facist brand of Islam which is radicalising otherwise ordinary young muslims in all western countries, then I think you have your head in the sand.

Actual figure maybe 20% of that: http://www.iraqbodycount.org/

Number of civilians the US deliberately set out to kill - a big fat zero.

I think the problems arise when the ones who allow immigrants into their country don't follow-through with reinforcing that the immigrants conform or at least tolerate the host country's culture, mores and values. Yes, there is a fine line between conforming and assimilation into the host society. Many immigrants can and should maintain some of their cultural identities - food is one that benefits cross-cultural ties and exchange - but they can certainly leave behind some of the baggage of their cultures.

That's why it's so ironic (and moronic) that the Muslims are protesting and threatening citizens of the host country - thereby exercising their freedom of speech - when what they are doing would never be tolerated in their own country unless as approved propoganda.

And now Libya has arrested and charged 50 people over the deaths of the US envoy and three others ...

    http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/world/1...envoy-killing/

Maybe the Muslim world is not as united in its rioting as peope here seem to think ... Maybe some Muslims in Libya think the rioters should be charged ... and maybe some Muslims in Libya with the power to make that happen are going to make that happen ..

...i narrowly missed out on having my head blown off by seemingly christian bunch of white blokes who planted a bomb in a maccas in London in '82 or '83...a lot of innocent people were killed...those same white christian blokes blew up a lot of other poor innocents in their quest for imposing their political values, loosely masked in religious rivalrys...and you have to add the intense hatred between the shi'ites and the sunni's into this shit to...it still comes down to money, the lack of it and power...

Well hell. Here in a civilised evolved society we respect and at times endure free speech. If those who embrace the vile and intolorant dogma that is Islam take umbrage at our way of life then you can pack your sorry shit up and piss off back to the shithole whence you came. Yes i'm happy to insult Islam. Behead me if you dare. I'd be more than happy to fill you full of hot lead poisoning.

Extremist Christians follow the exact same 'kill non-believers' stuff... It's only extremist Muslims who are in the news... and stereotyping the entire Islam population because of that is ridiculous. It's simply a young religion who takes itself too seriously and hasn't had an enlightenment yet. Think pre-19th century Christianity...

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. The scale of those political organizations pale in comparison to that of Islam.
