A lot of time, effort and money has been put into the development of this bike. I previously had a Honda Transalp as my ‘adventure’ bike but felt I needed something a little more capable off road. I purchased this as a standard 625SXC and proceeded to turn it into my version of the ultimate adventure bike. I think I suceeded except that unfortunately despite being fitted with lowering links, it remains too tall for me, particularly on uneven ground. In all other respects this is an awesome adventure bike.
It comes with;
• Britannia Composites Lynx Adventure fairing with Hella lights and headlight protectors. These are great fairings with an adjustable screen. Set it to suit. I’d happily use these fairings again. See www.britanniacomposites.com
• KTM 18 litre tank which gives a 400 km range
• KTM Comfort seat. I have happily done full day rides in total comfort e.g. to Burt Monroe Rally, Nelson, Dusty Butt adventure ride etc
• Pillion pegs – hard to find these
• SW Motec quick release removable pannier racks to suit Givi panniers
• Carrier
• Heated grips
• Kouba lowering link fitted and original link
• Trail Tech Vapour speedo/dash (original failed) with correct mileage entered
• Twin radiator fan kit
• KTM bash plate
• New chain and sprockets recently. Spare new 15t sprocket, 17t fitted.
• Mitas E07 rear tyre and Conti TKC80 front tyre both ½ worn
• Will have a new WOF this week
• N.B. GPS AND TOP BOX ARE NOT INCLUDED
Oil and filters changed when I purchased the bike at 7500km, full bike shop service completed at 10000km and oil and filters done at 15000.
This bike is in very good condition and has no known problems of any kind. Everything works as it should.
Happy to work in with Bike Tranz or similar at buyers expense etc.
