    Cheers mate.. Was awesome fun..

I missed taking some slips. I have a confirmed run at 10.995 on a slip but super stoked at the 10.203 on the results. Must have been a slip I missed Will have to do this again Very soon!

Thanks Kawasaki, it was my first go at drag racing and was awesome fun. Very addictive. The day was well run too.

My 11.727 makes me the fastest standard 600 (i dont count the ZX6RR who got 11.701 haha).

you must have done that run after we had the prize giving, because it was 5 kawasaki's on top when i got the list for that, its a very quick time on a track that was not that fast, head wind and not much grip.

It was a Kawasaki! Off course it can do that... but yes mine was definitely wrong. Best I could find on a slip was 10.995

Still I think it was a mint day and very well organised.

Big Thanks to the Kawasaki Team for a great day out!! Just wish I had something bigger to run on the day haha.

We need more bikes at the Nightspeed Drag wars on Friday nights so if you guys enjoyed Sunday you should head down on the 17th Gates open 5pm $15 gate entry and $35 to race. It's DYO format but grudge racing is always a headsup gigglefest!

Anyhoo Thanks again for a great day and can't wait for the next one.

    Kawasaki Good Times Day

A Big Thank you to Kawasaki Nz for the Good times Drag Day at Meremere.
We had a great time and got in plenty of seat time again on Black Thunder III.
Decided to change the rear Sproket for the event and run No NOS and No Airshifter so was pretty pleased with the runds despite some loss of Traction.
I enjoyed the 3 Runs on the New 2012 Kawasaki ZX14, but would have to get my head around the electronics and traction control as it would not launch the same way as Black Thunder III.
Would normally launch at High RPM put in trying to do this on the new bike, the electronics seemed to say Uh Oh ..Potential Loss of Traction so it seemed to back off the power and when it took off and teh front wheel came up in the first three gears...it was so smooth...as the bike seemed to sense the high nose attitude and would back off the power to slowly bring the front wheel down - "real smooth". Great bike..just need to become familiar with what to turn on and what to turn off.
Must have been a real good time running on Black Thunder III as it is teh fisrt time in over six years of drag racing that I have worn the back tyre down to start showing the "cords"!!

Well Done again to Kawasaki and all of the people who put this together. - Should be a monthly event!!!!!

    Cheers
