    Suzuki RG125 crankshaft rebuild required

My sons Suzuki RG125 engine detonated at a track day last week. Big end bearing turned to shrapnel. Does anyone know a decent firm who can fit/press a new crankpin and rod kit for a small 2 stroke....preferably in the the Auckland area....?

you could try crowd at MXparts.co.nz despite the name the chap who runs it is as ex reconditioner & knowledgeable. Look at the site & give him a call. The worst he can do is scream indignation down the phone & set a flock of trained bats onto you.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

The RG125 is very rare in NZ. I had a crank for one sent to me years ago by mistake, it is the similar to RG150 but has smaller crank pin.
I built a motor with it using an CR125 rod kit. They are cheap and plenty of options of supply/brand. Hope that helps.
