Hi all,

Unfortunately, my new business venture isn't going to fund itself...
This is a tidy bike with Kiwibiker history for about the last 6 years.

RR 101kw model.

Extras:

- 6 pot Tokico front brakes ex Hayabusa with Goodridge braided lines.

- Racetech front fork internals with Öhlins springs.

- Öhlins rear.

- Braided clutch line.

- Yoshi ignition advancer.

- K&N filter.

- ASV levers.

- RF900 specific Corbin seat.

- Pack rack

Suspension mods installed by Robert Taylor.

The bike has always been meticulously maintained with oil and filter changes every 5000km. All scheduled maintenance has been done on or ahead of time. As far as I can tell, the bike has never had an owner who neglected this.

In the three years that I have owned it,
I have had a grand total of 2 problems I changed an O-ring on the thermostat housing (and replaced the coolant while I was at it) and replaced a light bulb.

The not so good: The bike will need both front rotors replaced for a warrant.
The Chain and sprockets will need to be replaced soonish (has had a chain and sprocket kit put on it (530 from memory) so this will be cheaper and more easily bought than the standard oddball RF900 size) Both tires have probably got another 3000km in them.

That's not a bad price. Plenty of bang for the buck. People pay more for an old 250 ... and in worse condition.

Nice bike. How much does it normally cost to service an RF900R? Say, 5,000km oil and filter change and regular "on-schedule" maintenance.

Who's doing the work is the question. About 85 dollars for an oil and filter if you do your own work. If you want detailed info, PM Riffer, he has an RF900 and keeps much better records than me.

Yeah, It's priced to sell, but I'd rather sell it to someone off here than the great unwashed on Tardme. Also, there will be an initial outlay for the brake rotors, but I'm sure you've all already gathered that from reading the ad.
If someone of KB buys it, I'll throw in an oil filter and chain lube and some of the original parts that came with it i.e. the seat, rear shock etc....

Indeed they will, thanks for that... That's why the bike's up for 2.5 and not 3. I'd buy them and put them on, but as I said, I'm already bleeding money on a little project of mine, so I simply have none to spare...
