A lot of old buckets out there, many wont ever be sold as they disappear off the face of the earth never to be seen again,
What is your budget and what sort of bike are you looking for ?

Rather than buying a cheap bucket you should get a good one like an FXR150, unless you are a mechanical wizard you will soon get sick of fixing some old shitter and always coming last

If you look in the bucket bits for sale thread I put up a pic of a white CB125 T powered one that could be had cheap it Tauranga.
Very well built back in the day, but dated compared to whats happening now.
It needs a proper tidy up & everything serviced, but its all there.
PM me if interested. Its not mine but I can score it for you.
Sell your "good bucket" because it's too good to turn in to an uncompetitive race bike & looks like a good road bike still & that will fund this one.

Have you been to a bucket race meeting yet ? Best thing you could do is come out - get mum or dad to bring you - and get your face known.
Your parents are going to have to sign your licence and entries so they'd better see what you want to do....

At least you'll see what is being raced and probably meet a few young ones too.
CAMS have a meeting on the 20th at Ruapuna which will have buckets running.

Hey Marlin, Motorcycling Canterbury runs a training class, actually its on tonight.
every friday night before a race meet there is training for juniors, its free. There are a few buts like the size of bike / age of rider, you must be supervised , and if you act like a dick you probably get sent home. I dont think there is a better thing going anywhere in NZ.

The training is run by Brent Cotton (Buddha #81) who is a member on here. You and your parents should talk to him
