Nice bike, pretty sure I know someone who has one in his shed, I've driven one of those engines in a 250 Superkart

Why dont you get the RS500 instead

I've been dying to revers port one of my bucket motors. The GT wont work though, and the DT has a bent rod so there's no point.

Wanders off to do some research on Luke's gp 125 lump.

The correct answer is of course, yes, you can use it - but not for long without spares...

There were a couple of W's around - the guy Maxwell ? from Wgtn had one and from memory they ate pistons...
Incidentally,if he ever shows his face in the SI again, Trev Kirby will have him...Kirb supplied a screen for the TZ and is still owed $50.

But yes, they're a nice bike.

Maybe Kevin Maxwell? Can't be too hard to use/modify things like YZ125 bits though maybe?

As much as I like the v-twins...there's something sexy about the reverse cyl model I like. Maybe something as simple as the glorious straight chambers...

maybe something as difficult as the front stand holding the bike up at 45 degrees so that you can get at the carbs....

Whichever Maxwell it was, memory has just kicked in - his nickname was Beaker...last heard of working overseas.
