Fibreglass fairing in great condition. It's from a pre 89 FZ750. It would make a great race fairing due to the light weight.
Going to auction on Trademe and open to offers from KB members first. I usualy list the items on TM with a $1 start. Not sure I'd do that with this. Let me know if you're interested in this and what it's worth to you. Happy to post to the ends of NZ.
Light weight 3.5kgs as you see it in the pics (calculated off the bathroom scales as I carried it). The fairing is more red than orange. Two piece plus screen as seen in the pics. I took a pick of it next to my bike. The fairing sits on the 89 CBR600 well.
I picked up a couple of fairings to try on my Honda CBR Pre 89 race bike and this is the one that's for sale. Pity really because it's heaps lighter and in much better condition that the fairing I'm keeping.
I've tied the fairings and screen together with cable ties so you can see what it looks like.
It's going on trademe in the next few days for auction but I'm happy to let it go prior to a KB member.
Height, top of screen to under belly = 939mm ( My son measured these. Do you love the accuracy.)
Width at wings either side of nose 459mm
Length of the belly = 570mm
Size of engine opening across the hole = 345mm across and 480mm long top to bottom on the angle.

- CBR600 rolling bike (previously stripped down and frame painted by someone else. Needs some assembly but great pre '89 bike.
- CBR400RR pre 89 race bike with road rego. Runs well. Minor work to complete for track. Really good looking bike. You can see some pics in my Tags Auck album.
- 17inch wheels Front and rear set. ex ZZR I think.
- CBR600 1989 wheels
- Fork stabiliser for CBR600 pre 89. Will suit other models. Weigl Telefix (Made in Germany) Fork diameter looks like 57mm, Fork spacing between the forks is adjustable from 137mm to 142mm. Black.
- 17inch Honda rear wheel 5 or 5.5 inch?
- ZZR400 motor, carbs, full wiring loom etc. Carbs had been sitting a bit and will need work. I'm told the motor was running when parked up. Never tried to get it going. The guy was pulling the bike to pieces to throw the motor in a go-kart but didn't get far.
Happy to look at swapping for a bit of fibreglass work, painting, stickers, tyre warmers, leathers (I have two piece road but would like a little better). Basically anything i need to get on track.
