They import the stuff from the uk so they're the only ones around with that brand
Nice guys. Good tastes in bikes, too.

I'm on my second Buffalo Endurance jacket, first one was thieved, excellent value. The buffalo gloves need a bit of repair work after 2 years. Not too serious, though, can probably even manage it myself...

I can never manage it. There's a pair of $400 Alpinstar winter gloves out in the garage that's been worn just a couple of times. The gloves are waterproof but the first time I take them off and have to gear up in the rain again it's all over.

The gloves I have been wearing are thinsulate which are very long. They have seen three track crashes and still good at 7 years old.

I have a new jacket now ( Benice ) which I got 2 sizes larger and then paid to get the sides taken in. I can wear shorter gloves without issue with the new jacket.
So what gloves ahve you got then ?

Ive been to a couple of sites online only to find they arent that long and they is a gap between gloves and my jacket sleeves .
    Any recommendations ??
After a couple of tries with cheaper makes I got some alpinestars SP1's. Didn't break the bank and I'm very happy with them. Very sturdy and well made. Can get a bit chilly on an early morning run but I solved that with some thin glove inners from local mbike shop ($15). I'd give them a big thumbs up. If they don't meet your jacket sleeves I'd be pretty surprised.
While I'm here, has anyone got some experience of the Knox handroids now they've been around a while?

I have thinsulate gauntlet gloves too. They have rain protectors in a zip up pocket in the cuff. They are into their um 15Th? season. I use dubbin on them every few weeks, best gloves Ive ever had. My summer ones last abut 2 seasons then are trash.

I have at least 6 pairs of gloves.

The warmest and most water proof set I have is a Frank Thomas winter gloves, got them in London, think they cost 130 UK pounds. Trust the poms to make a great winter glove. The problem is they are very bulky and they take ages to dry when they get wet. I honestly only use them once of twice a year. I have a couple of other winter weight gloves, Darby and a BMW branded coudura pair. I also have 3 pairs of summer gloves, the ones I wear the most is a well worn, single layer, racing style Technica brand glove, they have done so many miles the black leather has been bleached by the sun and they are almost buckskin colour on the top side, you can see them in this pic....

The problem I find is that the glove that works well in the cold and wet becomes a smelly fungus factory when it warms up.

I ususlly have at least 2 spare sets of gloves in the luggage, one of the advantages of having a bagger.

i'd be tempted to get these:

    http://www.alpinestars.com/shop/cate...65-gtx-gloves/

I have the alpinestar drystar arctic gloves now.. which are shorter but that's fine for me. they are not very bulky around the fingers; very good control and waterproof (so far - and i do commute everyday). the artics are very similar to the alloys which as well had very nice fitting fingers with no bulk. the alloys were not at all water resistant though (didn't try to be)

once in a pinch i used kombi snowboarding gloves. those were 100% waterproof and were super warm. I have heavier leather waterproof gloves but leather sucks in rain and waterproof inner liners are a joke. so i never use those. next time i do a long trip i may just pack those kombis again. so nice.

Alpine star 365 glove is awesome. Expensive but well worth the price. If you ride in winter you would want hand warders or just wear some thin glove liner for extra warm.
