ECU is on its way back to NZ now and may arrive this year.

Got bored and started designing another trailer. Wonder if 300 while towing is possible.

Seriously though, I'm not sure what kind of record exists for towing a trailer by motorcycle.

I know a record was set recently with a very tweaked Dodge truck towing a caravan and set a record around 250kph??

Get pinged with a trailer at 130 km/hr and you're walking for 28 days ... with the court case to follow.

And probably another 6 months walking ...

93.9 kph on a public holiday or 99.9 other times is fast enough on a tour 2 up with no hurry to be anywhere.

Would be good to run a flying with it on though.

The problem is the Yanks call a caravan a trailer or trailer-home

Hense trailer parks are what we call caravan parks

So I would assume the record they set is for a stock caravan that sleeps 2 and has cooker frideg etc inside(examples only) and has only small mods to a standard etc wheel axels etc.

I watched the doco but they never explained alot about the conditions and spent more time on the build of the 1000+hp truck that towed it.

    Was good viewing.
Maybe there isnt even a record speed recorded for a motorcycle towing set.
Ill google that one day I guess if the world hasnt ended before I get the bike sorted.

Yeah refilled today and went for another ride. It was blowing hard on Thursday and I went to work Friday morning.
Its started getting better milage already it seem to sit at 21km per litre constant 100kph now. It was about 18-19 for the first tank.

500km now. I will have it ready for first service during next week I guess.
