    Oh noes! Battleship was/is real

Top secret naval collaboration between Chinese and American fleets to fight off an aggressive ufo invasion.

    True story.. Honest.

They are combining for a joint invasion of the Chatham islands. Once they conquer the locals, they will recuparate then turn their ships towards the mainland. The UFO story is just a diversion.

That's the trouble with science fiction, it always assumes that despite our lack of cohesion in international cooperation, different values and cultures, communication difficulties, complete lack of understanding of a truly alien culture, and low level of technology, we are still somehow capable of fending off advanced civilisations that have space travel, artificial intelligence, weapons of immense destruction, drop ships, particle weapons, EM shields, even cloaking technology...

Aint there some "Doctor Who's" still around?? They can nobble all the baddies from outer space, all done from a telephone box. the doc probably makes out he's a call centre. That would drive any martians away.

After looking at this, maybe that battleship story may not be so unreal...

Some of them look quite legitimate.
