I just use the Pinlock at all times (well, when wearing my clear visor, as I don't have one in the tinted). Works brilliantly.

+1 on this and others who do the same. No idea why they say not to use it at night, so have assumed it is simply a litigation defence to make such a statement.
I see a load better at night in the rain with it in than with it out, and if it's not raining I hardly know it's there. The gasket will also last a lot longer if you are not swapping it in and out so frequently.
Or do the suggested open face but wear a hi-vis jacket. It will surely keep you safe from wind, rain, facial impact and suicidal moths intent on dying up one of your nostrils. Maybe.

Used chewing gum can be found under any school kids seat/desk.
or try Scott no fog it's a liquid you wipe on the inside of goggles/visors been around for years.

Use two cable ties put together round through the visor area to hold it open. Found it a particularly helpful tip on a very wet track-day when wind would close my visor at around 180ish, not gonna pop off accidentally like a peg might either.![]()
Pinlock is what they should be looking at making compulsory wearing, not bloody high vis vests.
I don't understand how people can wear those oldskool german helmet type things. Or jsut open faced helmets, must get so many bugs on the face hahaha.
I always get pharking maaaasssive bees commuiting suicide into my visor making it all dirty and yuck
