What happened at Taupo? you gotta be a fruit cake to deliberately lie on the track, wasn't a big off that did any damage.

Fabien Foret was famous for it in Worls Supersport. Bin it and then not move. Jump up ater red flag out and race back for second bike and restart. Single bike rule probably killed that idea.
