Personally, I take both my wedding and engagement rings off for riding.
Reason is, if you off (which, let's not be childishly PC about, can happen), I am told the standard approach by paramedics is to cut any rings off you to facilitate blood circulation.
Now, I don't know about you, but I'd rather avoid this as those two bits of jewellery kind of mean a lot to me.
And as fun as it would be to have the insurance kick in and give me a new sparkler, it just wouldn't be the same.
"Glad" I'm single and don't have to deal with this "dilemma" can't wear jewellery at work anyway so just never bother full stop unless I'm going out. p.s. thanks to the person who mentioned googling degloving.... bleurk!
I wear my rings, princess cut engagement pretty thin. Under my gloves. My theory is if I go, I want to go out in style with my rings!!
Gold Diggers....like hookers just smarter
but if take your rings off, then you wont get the good drugs from the cute paramedic girl/ guy who thinks your single...
but yes after wearing tighty whity briefs under my leathers and then having them cut off, i swore it would be dan carter style boxers from then on in... mind you i wasnt really concerned at the time with the morphine kicking in what i looked like, i just said righto cut them off...(the leathers)
