Auckland Buckets, 14 October: No Saturday practice

Due to a double booking of the track there will no Saturday practice on the 13th. Racing as usual on the Sunday with briefing a bit earlier at around 10:30.

We are going to try and get another practice date a couple of weeks before the two hour instead.

    Cheers

you are so not funny. That would be legitimate.
they want to use it for some kart thing, go figure.
It could well work to our advantage though, so watch this space

Bugger, I was only going to do practice this month as lung, ribs & hand aren't back to 100%, does this mean the next attempt on my life by the GP will be in full view of the public?

Very possibly. We are looking at the possibility of having the practice day postponed instead of cancelled and may have the track for a day a week or two before the two hour. Will confirm with date when it is nailed down.

You may also have seen on the AMCC website that December's funday weekend is cancelled.
No one seemed keen to step up and run the event, we're all heading to Tokoroa for the North Island series opener, or to Hampton Downs for the big bike racing.

see ya all Sunday, and if you can come see me before or after you've signed on, I want to get contact numbers and email addresses so we can contact everyone when things like this happen (I did try from what I have got for Saturday practice, but can't read anyone's writing and gave up).

We are up this weekend so will come along and say hi, shall we put the leathers and licences in the car? Anyone got a bike I could 'test'?

You definitely have to come say hi and bring your leathers. I'm not allowed to lend out my bikes, but you know who to talk to. Is that "we" your dad, your brother or just this wife we've never met and who kept you away from the racing last North Island season?

hahaha , she's getting dropped off at her friends place out pukie(right behind the track no less, so they will come in useful one day!) and Blair's coming along for the ride.

No use at the moment, track sort of closed or something due to upgrading for four wheel things.

Just drag yourself to Tokoroa instead.

The canned Saturday practice from this month has been shifted to sunday 11th November so there is some extra practice / tuning time for the two hour.
