I'm going. Welly - to Taupo via Gentle Annie on Friday, go to site Sat then to Whangamomona pub for the night, home on sunday via NP and around the cape.

I am taking my 1962 lambretta Li150 with a crusing speed of 80km/hr If I leave on friday at like 5am I might be there by opening time I have have and hours break for lunch.....

i went last year beyotch.
i had a good time but the track day is on the same day and ive already payed.
so im going to that instead.

Not so John, what i've heard from CK vets are that everyone meets Fri, all the stupid shit goes down on Sat and pretty much everyone clears off early Sun morning, Sooooooo what i'm thinking is heading down Friday, hanging Sat, then either leaving for feilding Sat night or gapping it early Sunday morning to the track, it'd be less than 2 hours ride to Manfeild.

I'll be going, ( 'er indoors is having a girls' weekend ) and as one of the more mature members of the bike riding fraternity I will be taking it upon myself to restore order and prevent mayhem. Then again I might take advantage of the fact that no one will know who I am and have a bit of fun.

Anyone else going up from palmy and environs? I am thinking of leaving at sparrow's fart on saturday
