This sounds like its gonna be a bit of fun.

Shall we try to camp in the same area???
Usually camp in the tree area. (turn right when entering the main area)

    Death Inc...
We were camp just next to you last year (over the other side of the gravel in the trees), Is a good spot that.

Stuff is usually safe, there's always heaps of people around.

SS,the plate got cut in half by the steel belts.....so did the gaurd and it was a real mission getting it all off from around the rear brake....

i agree, tree area is heaps better than being in the open. note to those who come late... not a good idea unless your prepared to camp in the open on a ridge, get in early and park up in a good spot!
yeah... sorry bro, i thought that ment miles 'n hour.

Have not made up our minds if going or not this year, will be first one in 18 years we will have missed if we dont go.
Is there anyone from Wgtn going up on small bikes?? (under 250 ), Friday nite always used to be the best nite for the parties, camping amongst the trees is good, RGV150 would be like a sports bike compared to my CT110 and thats been ridden to Gisborne & back & done the coast to coast, Sparky will you remember your sleeping bag??, last year was not cold - dont know where it was -5 but it wasnt at the Cold Kiwi, I'm not a big hairy biker and my wife was there - no velcro involved, You can enter at the gate!, better to pre enter, follow signs from Waiouru ( south of Bombays ) - other Aucklanders have found it.
Will probably see you there & Sparky your Bro in Brisbane says you will shout me a beer.

Thanks for the offer but I may have trouble keeping up with the R1! Saw Yoshie the other day , he is going up on Friday too. Sent my Entry Form off yesterday so committed to go now.

I'm definitely going, got my tickets in the mail at the weekend, Friday seems to be the go but i don't think its going to be an option for me, more likely to be sparrow's fart saturday morning so any of you Friday people with all the good camp sites, if you see an old bugger on a slightly tatty GB400 be kind. Any Palmy or thereabouts people going up ? when ?
