Is it a bad thing if you take your bike in for it's regular service, and the sales guy sees it as an opportunity to get you onto something different each time as a loaner?
Then again, I did beat the factory fuel economy figures for the last bike, the NC700S...![]()

I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
With only 600k on it I'd be reluctant to let people ride it too. That's gotta be it's strongest selling point. Did they have another one you could ride?

If the cnuts are judging by the ride (or lack of) that you turn up on I have an easy answer:
- Go to another bike shop and test ride a hyobag
- Take this to another bike shop and test ride a high mileage 600
- Take this to another bike shop and test ride a thou
- Take this to another bike shop and test ride a tuono
- Take this back to the shop with the bike that you want to ride and tell them your thinking of getting a second bike
Just remember to return them all in the right order.
I've bought a couple of bikes I had absolutely no intention of buying, after test rides.......and two I almost bought.......
