Maybe it was the scuzzbuckets unlucky day?

And of course there are the other 'driving incidents' to consider...

Damn. I was getting a speeding ticket at the time and popo concerned was prepared to forget about me and join in the chase if it came our way. Sadly, it didn't. Never mind. We had a pleasant chat about pursuit policy in Christchurch before be left me $120 poorer. Good bloke too.

Similar response from police when reporting assault on a girl in shopping precinct in late afternoon - they telephone interviewed her 2 days later.

And no doubt Katman will chime in to say the girl should have seen it coming and somehow prevented it.

Do we have any advance on ten? The Herald has more information and a slightly different take on the story.

FFS they should have shipped the arrogant little shit head to central Otago in just his undies, let the prick walk back to Nelson if he survives the cold snap and wild life.

Stealing petrol, speeding, driving whilst disqualified, failing to stop and yet still smart enough to arrange to get back to his car before the police impound it, just to be caught again.

One of my local service stations had a cop tell him it was a civil matter, nothing he could do about it. He'll be spewing when he sees this.

Whether it is a civil matter depends on the intent of the offender and if any discussion was had between them and staff at the petrol station.

remanded him in custody and shipped him back to Nelson, where he stays with his mother.
Bwhahahaha .. I'll bet mummy was pleased to have to visit her son in the cells ...
