Thanks Rob for running a hone through the cylinder, always greatly appreciated mate!
Also, a special thanks to Tim for giving up on waiting for Darren to weld his gearbox and selling his GP125 engine build to me. It certainly brings the time frame for my bike forward.
Soooo uhhhhh Darren... about that gearbox

Nice toy, way tidier than the slightly larger one we have. You and B grade tim can start an owners group

Bring the 250 along and we can have an RS ride. I test rode a CB200 for a friend yesterday (mostly sucked apart from looking cool) and started dreaming again. This thing came up and was an absolute steal! So much so that I had to buy it.
I haven't had a road bike in 2 years or something dumb so I'm super eager to ride a bunch before winter sets in and kills all enthusiasm.

Chris was around my garage the other day and spent a fair bit of time drooling over my RS which I thought I bought cheap, he stole that one.

    ^ That's exactly what happened.

Went for a ride yesterday, dang this bike is fun! It has a 32mm Delorto carb and a K&N filter. The factory carb is a 28mm. I noticed it accelerates well through the rev range but when cruising at say 100 about 6-7k rpm, give it full throttle and it didn't want to accelerate properly. Sounds like it needs some tuning time.

Damn fun though, holy crap I'm hooked.

Many jokes could be made here, probably a few about hair loss and age, a couple about being hooligans and cheque book racers. I'll leave those to your own imagination.

    Cylinder spacing

I spent some time out at ESE today with my GP engine and Rob. We decided on going down the copper route and started making the cylinder spacer to correct for the longer RGV250 rod.

We spoke about utilising some of that extra copper and came up with this. The steep angle of attack should provide sufficient downforce considering the low speed of a kart track
