I stuff up a bunch in these couple of laps but it's close racing none the less. Improved significantly in race 2

I thought some of you might be interested in Dave's ol fiddy. I post quite a bit on instagram and my facebook page about my racing if you were interested in this buuuut...
The AMCC were kind enough to give us discounted entry to round 4 at the club circuit on Hampton Downs last Sunday and it was amazingly fun. Waaaaay better than I expected. The 25 deep field definitely made it even more awesomer.
I qualified and did race 1 and 2 on the TZ80 then took the RS50 out for a strop. I ended up getting the 3rd fastest race time of the day on it and a 3rd place in the last race by only 0.021s to Paul Ellis in second!!! CTAS were there doing a bang up job of videoing the races. I think race 4 is worth watching. I'm number 27, the little nugget white number board:

Compare Pornography now to 50 years ago.
Then extrapolate 50 years into the future.
. . . That shit's Nasty.
I still very much prefer Taupo track 2 for buckets and track 1 for bigger bikes over the HD tracks. I wouldn't ride the bucket on the national track but the club track is still great!
Considering it's 4-5 corners, it's surprisingly fun. Definitely recommended and I know there will be more than a few of us wanting another go on our buckets. Everyone had massive grins and were beaming with excitement to go out again. Turn 2 is just about tapped on the 50 (not the 80) and using as much of the track as you can. Turn 3 onto the sweeper is 100% tapped with enough room on the track to not worry about running off.
There was a noticeable slip stream through the sweeper and I think all of us not running fairings made the racing better. More passing because of it.
Bah, can't get it to run on my tablet, I'll try later. Good to see the 50 is being used by someone who can pedal it properly.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Was an awesome race. If only I had been able to keep the two of you behind me. I could get level with you out of the sweeper and down the straight but you had way bigger nads than me when it came to braking. If I recall correctly the only reason he got you by even that much was by slipstreaming you across the line.
Stock is best
This is why these little KTMs go so well! This is the SX65 (2009) next to a (filthy and cracked) 1998+ NX4 RS125 cylinder. The SX65 is a factory 3 ex port with vacuum power valve and really nicely shaped transfer ducts with big inner wall radius's. So much better compared to the Derbi and Minarelli cylinders. The exhaust duct flange/spigot/spacer is a bit of a pain in the ass on the 65 but maybe it's a blessing in disguise allowing the aux ports to be extended way up to the edge as Wobbly recommends.
The 50s only have about 9.5hp at the wheel and don't come with a clutch. I'm going to fit a SX50 cylinder (on order, ouch they're expensive) to the 65 cases.
