    WTB 2008 xb12x Buell

Hi guys long time out of the KB loop.
I am looking for an XB12X 2008 onwards. also have a very nice XR650R I am considering moving on as can't take the girl on the back of BRP. I have only had the Honda a short time goes great but no two up option. Its had new rear bearings and seals and new chain within the last 300km and is running road tyre set up.
So if your Uly is languishing in the shed and the rego and insurance is a pain. let me know I may be interested. PM would be good.
    Cheers

hey mate did u ever get your bike? i got an xb for sale at a great price, no bs and not ridden like an 18yr old.

let me know, its not exactly what you are after (hard to find and expensive) but is damn close and arguably better.

    Smile Re XB

    Hey Jef.
Thanks for the offer, I did find a Uly and have it tucked away in the shed. I kinda finished the earlier thread on the dual purpose forum. I had an XR650 I sold to help get the Uly. Cheers

No worries sheddy, what year did u end up with? if u don't mind what did u end up paying and how many kms? I just paid 7500 for an 06 with 22,000kms.

not many around these days here in NZ...i think we are owners of a rare stallion indeed! Happy riding

yep they dont come up too often, mine is an 09 with about 12000km and it was secured for just under $10k. My first one was an 06 and 15km sold two years ago for around the $8k mark.
Enjoy your ride. Seriously, I accidently popped the front wheel up last time I was on it and that front wheel lift of about 2 secs kept me smiling all day. Yeees

nice one mate, i hope to make that transition too one day, but happy to ride the pants off the 06 in the meantime. That, and I didn't have 10grand to put on a bike and no 09/10 ulys around anyhow! Those prices sound like my bike at 7500 is about right. I did get a 3month unlimited warranty with that though, so no complaints. hopefully wont have to use that though. So where do u ride? my mate has an 07, he was an x1 rider, then worked on my xb9 and got one himself and then graduated to the uly. We're all hooked! If EBR put out a touring bike, LOOK OUT!
