    Manual sais JR9Cs, they 21.75$ ea (x4)
    NGK site says D8EA, 7.37$ ea (x4)
DR8eaix iridiums available.. advantage? price on par with the 9Cs?

cannae read what's on the ones what's in, not at home with tools to pull one =S :brickwall:

bullet points please people, any advantage to iridiums? is the magneto system going to fuck out if i put the 8EAs in?

D8EA's would be pretty standard for an 80's 4 cylinder, if that's what the NGK site recommends can't see what the problem would be. Have you checked the number codes to see what the difference is?

$7.37 is too expensive, just bought a set for my old bike for $5.50 each, they're ripping you off dude.

jah. just put me glassies on and looks like ends in A. so i'm guessing it's the D8s in there atm.

... difference? codes? whut now? i'm guessing 8 is hotter, but the 9Cs have lower resistance? don't know, don't know how to check either? linky?

where is 5.5$ ones?! (i'm not TOO miffed about the 8$...)

Not such a bright spark after all huh?
I bought a set of D8ea's for my XJ600 a couple of months ago from Supercheap in Whangarei. Cost $5.50 each.

i don't think there's anything wrong with the brightness of the spark, just a matter of "i havent done it since i got the bike and i'm fairly sure the last owner was less than careful"
    ie, routine maintenance.
    will check out supercheap. cheers.

I think the issue will be not brightness of spark ... but more a dud plug or two.

Supercheap would be appropriate for him ...
