Yeah .. ocassionally I slip and people look at me strange and I have to explain what "cage" means ... or sometimes 'tintop" ... and it's "cage" or "cages" (plural) .. but never "cagers" ...

    What's wrong with 'car'?
Nothing really .. it's got to be a verbal habit ... prolly 'cause that's how I think of them ...

Or is it just to make us all sound like ruthless bikers?
I was going to give you a smart arse reply - but then I figured not ...

Those corner snappers such as killboy at deals gap and rnickey mouse at mulholland sure do create their share of photo ops!
Not sure if that is a good thing.

I would have thought a ''cager'' is the person who likes to cage? like a camper...one who likes to camp. A person/s who likes to camp is not a camps. But said person/s, may like to take the cage to the camp making said person/s a camper (not camps) who likes to be a cager and take the cage, instead of being a biker and taking the bike.
    Clear as a clear thing.

But isn't a camper a type of van ironically used by people whom don't like to camp but are often found in camp grounds.

Indeed they are, they can also be found annoying the hell out of caged cagers on any given hot summer day on any given road.
