he was determined to take out that cage. Note how in pic 11 he starts to stand the bike up and stops trying to follow the bend. By pic 13 he is almost vertical, and by pic 16 he is actually turning left to intercept that cage right where he'll do the most damage. Well done. (The WW2 japanese navy would have been proud to have someone like him as one of their Divine Wind pilots.)

That is some epic photography. Not sure who is doing it, but bloody good on them/it for rolling all the way through that #19 is particularly epic. Not only is the dude completely horizontal, but you can see his bike in the process of disintegrating. In particular the wheel coming off and the forks shattering (look at all that fork out). Brilliantly good photography!

Bloody hell do cruisers have shit clearance/lean angles though. Pic #9 you can see the bike bottoming out, and he's barely even leaned over. Scared him so bad he aborted the corner right into that vette.

    Shoulda got his knee down

    Deals Gap, The Dragon.

Another rider came off due to the fluids left from that accident & is in a bad way in hospital. They go down like flies..

Yup, that other rider is not in a good way, fractured skull, assorted breaks etc. The general consensus on the other forum is the cruiser rider was hamming it up for the camera, stuffed the corner up, grounded his footboards, shat himself and stood the bike up. Such a shame to destroy a nice bike like that, apparently he walked sway with a fractured wrist, but I could be wrong......

    Smile at the camera!

Click on the View All in the top left corner & scroll through the images for a great example of target fixation.

    I see two problems there:

    1. He waved.

    2. He's on a Harley.

    Obviously a multi-factor accident.
